School Partnerships

A partnership built around your school.

ADI is now seeking its first school partners. Here is an example of how a pilot could look — every element is tailored to your school's needs and policies.

Example pilot

An eight-week pilot, step by step.

Illustrative only and subject to tailoring with each school.

  1. Weeks 0

    Planning

Align goals with administrators, athletic directors and coaches; confirm policies and logistics.

  2. Referral

    School-approved referral

Students are identified through a school-approved referral process.

  3. Consent

    Parental consent & student assent

No mentoring begins without written parental consent and the student's own agreement.

  4. Weeks 1–8

    Weekly mentoring

20–30 minute sessions each week, scheduled to respect class and practice time.

  5. Week 8

    Feedback & evaluation

Gather feedback from students, families and staff to review the pilot together.

Safeguarding

Student safety is the foundation, not a feature.

School-approved sessions

All sessions happen with school approval, in settings that follow school policy.

Appropriate clearances

Mentors complete required Pennsylvania background clearances before working with students.

Privacy

Student information is handled with care and shared only as appropriate under school policy and the law.

Reporting protocols

Mentors follow mandated reporting obligations and the school's escalation procedures.

Referral to licensed professionals

Mentors are not therapists. Mental-health concerns are referred through the school to licensed professionals.

Consent first

Parental consent and student assent are required for individual mentoring.
